Dun Briste is a sea stack that stands 45 meters tall and is located at Downpatrick Head in Co Mayo, one of the Wild Atlantic Way signature points. Dun Briste (Gaelic for broken fort) was once joined to the mainland before seas severed it in an overnight storm approximately 500 years ago.

This print is part of my “Wild Atlantic Way” art print series, a vibrant and contemporary collection of open edition prints inspired by the many signature landmarks along Ireland’s west coast. The Wild Atlantic Way stretches 2600 kms (1600 miles) and is one of the longest defined coastal routes in the world.
